Complete FS has had its best month for new business since 2008 with more than £50m in new applications across the specialist sector in March.
The South Coast-based packager and specialist distributor has reported that buy-to-let applications were up 14.2 per cent, secured loans by 29.4 per cent and bridging by 31.6 per cent in comparison with the first quarter of 2016.
Tony Salentino, director at Complete FS, said: “The March figures were particularly satisfying as this was the best month’s trading we have had since the credit crunch and is a testament to the dedication, professionalism and commitment from all our team members."
He added Complete FS has traded through three major recessionary cycles over 25 years in servicing the intermediary community.
"Our experience has shown that our long term success is not built on the product offering, however good that might be, but on the quality of the service we offer," he said.
Complete FS is now recruiting for mortgage underwriters and administrators.
Mr Salentino said the recruitment of new staff was part of a "controlled" expansion so that the packager can constantly strive to improve service while bringing new people into the business when needed.
