The PFS could replicate both of those but not overnight. If we left now it would be quite some time before the PFS could run accredited exams or apply for chartered status and be allowed to award that title to members.
We may yet be forced to decide if we are all prepared to forego that for a period if we want to keep the PFS out of the clutches of the CII.
Of course there are other options to maintain your SPS and obtain chartered status. It will be interesting to see if those other bodies look to tempt PFS members to move. If significant numbers do that then the CII may find that it has taken over the Mary Celeste.
