“The bigger discrepancy between those types of things can really drive how people function and how many people they employ.
"Actually it's really good if you're an adviser to have someone there doing your admin, someone there doing your paraplanning, so you can spend your time talking to your clients, and that might be for a few hours a week.
“But actually more people are now also going to be paying NI. So there's going to be a greater cost, higher national living wage, and all of those things might just mean that they end up doing all the work themselves, which is never good for any individual.”
